Digital Scrapbooking by myself!

Okay guys - I did it. I created a page without anyone's help. Okay, maybe just one call to Corianne. . . . . . but still I take full credit. I did miss having Corianne's input and creativity to help me - but it turned out okay. Thanks Cori for all your help. Thanks Camille for cheering me on. This was not easy for me. It stinks to be an 80's child. These young sprout things can pop out digital scrapbooking pages like crazy. Us older youngins take a little longer to catch on. Now I'm excited to learn how to make my own invitations and announcements without having to bug my sister. Hey, I might even learn how to change my own blog background. That would be an accomplishment.

So Corianne came over again today and had me do most the work. I got it a lot more today than Monday. Thanks Corianne. I'm loving my page. Tonight I will try to do one for Braxton without Corianne here. If you don't see it by tomorrow then I still need help. We'll see. . . . . . . Cute huh!

Digital Scrapbooking

My talented sister Corianne made this digital scrapbook page. I've been bugging her to come over and help me get started. She told me how easy it is. But, as I watched her fingers fly across my key board as she made this page my eyes kind of glazed over. I know I will learn how because I want to soooo bad. But, I think its going to take a few lessons. Corianne, Camille, My Mom, and I are all taking crocheting lessons too. I think I'm the slowest crocheter as well. Sitting down and doing intricut things must not be my talent - but, I'm willing to put the time in to learn. By the way it only cost a few dollars to print this 12"x12" page at costco. So I think its a lot cheaper than scrappin the old fashioned way. Plus you don't have a messy supply room to worry about. Digital is the way to go. If you can just learn photoshop elements. All of the digital paper came from shabby princess. They have the cutest digital supplies.

Twins explore everything

Now this is a room they usually don't play in. But, they tried it out today. When I found them in the washer I had to take a picture. They were trying to close the lid. Sadly, they turned over my basket of clean clothes all over the laundry room floor and knocked off most of the hangers. But, I made them help me clean it up. On my decorating saga I finally bought a comforter today for the master bedroom. I got it on overstock.com for about $129 - I found the exact same set on another web site for over $500 so I'm feeling pretty proud of myself. I was purchasing my new comforter when the twins decided to explore the laundry room and sadly to say Baylee's room again. I need to put Baylee's room together before she gets home from school - yes it is that bad. See what happens when Mom goes shopping on the internet. Sigh.
