Old Blue is gone!

So it really happened! Old blue is officially gone. Shawn got to our home at around 1:30 today - early as usual. He took the door off it's hinges and found rope to tie down the hide a bed. Jimmy and David came right at 2:00 and they managed to lift that beast clear to the road. When David arrived at Deseret Industries with the couch the guy looked it over and felt like it was not in good enough condition to accept. But, David used all of his charm and salesmanship abilities to show him the hide a bed the reclining chairs etc. Finally they decided to accept it. Kind of funny.
We got the leather couches that have been hiding in our basement since before the twins were born and brought them upstairs. I'm sooooo happy. Now I do say that my family room looks gigantic and I never realized how pretty our fireplace was. It always took a back seat to our enormous baby blue couch. Anyway, today is better than Christmas for me.
By the way, Baylee wasn't at all upset about loosing old blue. When she came home from school she was just excited to have a lot of room to do cartwheels in.
I could do cartwheels with her. (JJK). Anyway, sorry Camille, Cori, and Mom for missing our crocheting class today - I just had to be here to make sure this actually happened. It was almost going to be postponed till Friday (David's idea) but I convinced him I had moved things around to the point we had to do it today. Yay!!!!

Group of cousins at Sierra's party

In this picture Brielle wouldn't participate. In the next picture Jennica wouldn't. Jennica just wanted to play with the cool computer she was holding. The party was lots of fun. On my side of our family we have tons and tons of little people that are pretty close to the same age.

Sierra's three year old birthday party

Sierra (cousin) turned three! I think she ate the entire bottle of sprinkles. At least Cori threw the bottle away when she was done.

Jennica loved Sierra's birthday party - except for the unwrapping part - she wanted to be a part of that action. She needs to get used to it because there are several more birthdays to go.

Braxton and Corbin also wanted to get into the unwrapping action. Sierra had lots of help in that department.

Brielle was being a thoughtful big sister during the party.

Sierra wouldn't wear the birthday girl crown - But Camiah loved it.
All in all it was one wild and crazy party. My kids had a blast. The noise level was pretty high - but still didn't reach the levels Baylee party did. Lots of fun. Happy Birthday Sierra.

Christmas Morning

We wrapped off the living room. It kept the Kids from looking at their presents before we were ready.

This is definately something were going to do every year. Krista Saltmarsh gave me the idea at our Young Woman's traditions activity. It was so fun.

Right before the unwrapping frenzy.

This little tent was a big hit. Maybe they won't have to get all my blankets and towels out to make huts anymore.

Christmas Eve

We always act out the nativity with the Taylor side on Christmas Eve. Braxton was a wiseman and was holding a little bag of golden coins (chocolate inside). When it came time to lay the money down at Jesus feet this is what we got. Braxton couldn't give his money to Jesus. We talked to him and tried to explain how important it was. But. . . . . . . .sometimes kids just make parents so proud.

The Taylor's always have a talent show. We didn't plan on these boys doing anything for it - but they decided to sing a song. It was cute.

My angel and wiseman. Doesn't Braxton look happy to have his money.

Brielle was Mary and Carson was Joseph.

The nativity is usually my favorite part of the Christmas Eve program. This year we ran into quite a few glitches. It was still really cute though.

Baylee's birthday party

The day of Baylee's birthday was snowy and cold. We had one girl that didn't make it because of the roads. It just kept coming down that day. My plans to take the twins to my Mom's didn't work out because of the weather also. It was crazy. So I had twelve little excited girls and Braxton and Jennica. Whew. Anyhow, it turned out okay - it wasn't until the next day that I realized that there were two activities that I had planned on doing that I had totally forgot about. I think they all had fun and we sugared them up with cupcakes and sugar cookies that they all decorated. Sorry I didn't get any good pictures. I could hardly keep up with the party.

Twins Preschool Program

We left our camera at home during our twins preschool presentation. It was so cute though. They acted out the nativity and sang songs for us. Their teacher is really good and has a great curriculum. Its so fun to see them try to write their names and stuff. So far Jennica can write a really good J - and Braxton can write a B. They show me the letters in their names everywhere we go.

Braxton's reindeer hat was just a little big.

Baylee's baptism day

Baylee's big day was soooo much fun. I can't believe how many friends and family came out to support her. Thankyou so much for coming. People drove from Payson and Spanish Fork (even though they got 5" of snow last night).

Me and my sister's along with my Mom in the kitchen. Thanks all for helping me prepare the food.

Baylee with two of her cousins Kaitlyn & Brooke. Brooke will get baptized next month.

A few of the little Taylor People. Except for Kyle on the end who is a little Bunker kid (Oh, and my kids are Bunker kids too).
It was fun having both of our families at the baptism party together. After we ate we had a dodge ball game - the Taylor's versus the Bunkers. When I checked in on the game the Bunker's had all their players while Cymoni Larsen was the lone last Taylor guy. I think she wanted to get out at that point. David's sister Monica assured me that the game before all the Bunker's were out except for Brittney Bunker. When it was time to clean up most of the Taylor Men were either sick or had back problems so according to some Steve Campbell (married to Monica - David's sister) cleaned most things up single handedly.(jk) No really, everything was so easy to clean up with all the help we had. Thanks everyone for sharing Baylee's special day with us. I'm sure I will post more pictures as I get them. I assigned people photographer jobs for the day.
