Last Weeks Snow Storm

I'm posting this picture to remind myself how much nicer the weather is this week compared to last. This picture was taken last Thursday. Ya gotta love April. 70 degrees to 25 degrees in the matter of 24 hours.

Baylee's learning a dance to thriller

At Baylee's school they are putting on a dance festival. She has to perform a dance to thriller. I wanted to show her the original thriller music video for fun. Brings back good ole junior high memories. The first time I saw this music video was in 1984. I was in the ninth grade and Mr. Hyde showed it to us in his class. Make sure you turn off my play list before viewing. I think they are celebrating the 25 year anniversary of Thriller.

Been practicing on newborns today

Cori and I have been taking pictures of newborns for our portfolio. It's so fun to see all of these brand new babies. Here's one that was born April 9th. Just adorable. I took some of Megan Grover's sisters new born today too. I'll post them on my blog sometime after my kids go to sleep tonight. I can't wait to see them finished.

Twins Fourth Birthday

Brielle came over to wish Jennica and Braxton a happy birthday today. Grandma had gotten Jennica makeup so you can tell what they were playing with. I just love girls.

Of Course Braxtons favorite part is about the cupcakes. He loved them.

Decorating cupcakes is my kids favorite thing to do. I will be mopping up sprinkles for the next week.

Just a couple of dancing pictures that I took this week of Jennica. She just comes out of her room looking like this somedays.

Like I said in the post before - I'm a little tripped out that their four. So grown up.

Twins turning four today.

Today was the twins fourth birthday. I can't believe how fast it went. They are sooo big now. As I have gone through these pictures I just can't believe how time has flown. My babies are really growing up now. Just a few pictures to share....

Me right after I gave birth to the twins. I was so shocked that it happened that day. Totally unexpected. I thought I had at least three more weeks. They came at 33 weeks. I had no idea that I was having true labor pains and not the fake kind. I was uncomfortable but knew that being pregnant with twins was supposed to hurt - so I just chauked it up to pregnancy pain.

Braxton weighing in at 4lb 12oz. I was told that was big for a twin at 33 weeks. Jennica had been sitting on his head for all those months so we had to work on his neck coordination for awhile. I loved all of his thick dark hair.

Jennica weighing in at 3lbs 15oz. She gave us more of a scare. She had breathing problems and was almost moved to Utah Valley. Luckily that didn't happen and she remained at American Fork Hospital.

When they were well enough to share a crib I felt better about that. They seemed to be more comfortable with it.

Baylee meeting her new brother and sister. They usually made all the kids wear masks.
We were in the hospital from April 12th to May 7th. It was sure good to get them home. Except Jennica was still under 5 lbs and Braxton was almost 6 lbs. It was scary having such little bodies to take care of. I remember being so excited when they both hit 8 lbs.

Happy Easter

I loved General Conference. I was so inspired and touched by the words spoken. Elder Holland's powerful message was one of hope and comfort and the true reason why we celebrate Easter. I love my Savior. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter holiday.

Jennica with a vintage look

Still playing around with photoshop today. It's addictive. I added a vintage color scheme and some grain to the picture. I like the way it looks. Also, sorry about my blog background. I really don't like plain white. But, I've been spoiled by my sweet, adorable, nice, sister Corianne who maintains my blog background for me because she loves me. But, since I accidentaly deleted the background (my attempt at doing anything hitech) we've both been very busy learning photoshop cs3 and blogging has fallen to the back burner. But, since she loves me so much and I absolutely adore her I'm sure she will help me out and fix my background for me. Especially since I'm turning 40 on Saturday and will be over the hill on Sunday. Anything over forty is definately over the hill. Don't ya think? If you look at obituaries you know the average person dies around 80. So once you hit forty you've reached your hump day. Your not going towards mid life anymore. Your going towards dead in forty years. Wow. I'm just having a moment here. Oh well, I guess I have forty more years to think about it.
