Knee Surgery

David had knee surgery today. We thought he would be getting a new ACL ligament that was torn. But, when the doctor got in there he found a lot of arthritis and a bone spur that actually ripped into the ACL slowly. So instead of a new ligament he cleaned things up and we will be looking forward to a full on knee replacement in a few years. He needs to make that cartilage (what little of it he has) to last as long as possible for now. That means no jogging, running, or basketball (it requires running). Meanwhile, David is recovering well and should be up and about a lot faster than we had anticipated.
